Research

Why traditional games are being discontinued?

Every generation discovers and develops its own ways of recreation and physical exertion and discards many others depending on their peculiar circumstances. Games may be discarded because they may be-

(a) physically demanding
(b) require more resources
(c) not be entertaining

(d) have cultural inhibitions,
(e) may not be in tune with the existing living styles of a community.

Cultural change, as a result of globalization, has played a pivotal role in pushing traditional games out of fashion.
